I know what you guys are thinking. Is there another blog post from Crystal? Yes! I really want to be more active on my blog. I miss writing. The second and third book of this series have kind of blurred together so this isn’t probably the best review. Oh well.
Once again, I couldn’t get enough of this series. We go into this knowing the trash that happened in After. Which is completely gut wrenching. Do not read anymore if you do not want spoilers for After. So Tessa breaks up with Hardin after she learns of the bet and pretty much tricks her into moving in with him so she will not leave him. He clearly has no clue on how to handle love like this. I admire his attempt. What I admire more is Tessa actually getting away from him for a while.
The best part of this book is Seattle. Oh my gosh. The Seattle trip y’all. Drunk Tessa is hilarious. I won’t go into the smut but I hope the movie gives this moment justice.
This book is so long I actually don’t remember all that happened. All the books are blurring together.
Pretty much this book is Tessa and Harding fighting. They break up, get back together, break up, get back together. It does get a little tedious. At one point I wondered if I should just give up because this book is so long. The following book is much longer.
I was still so consumed that I couldn’t tear away from it. What I loved most about this book is that HARDIN HAS A POV. THIS. THIS. It helped me to realize his character so much more. I loved him even more. He infuriated me but gosh did I just want to save him. Tessa must have had the same thoughts I did. She couldn’t give up on him.
There is sort of a love triangle in this too. It actually shocked me with who the other guy was. I did like how Tessa did attempt to look for other options even though Hardin went into raging fits.
If you’re wondering if this is worth going on with the series, the answer is YES.
