Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl. This Top Ten Tuesday topic is bookish resolutions/goals.
Here are some things I would like to accomplish this year when it comes to books.
- Learn more about editing my book photography
I got a camera for my birthday so I am still trying to figure it out and how to edit pictures. I love the pictures people post on their bookstragram.
- Keep up with my post on my blog
This year I have done good making sure I am posting at least three post a week. I enjoy doing this so I want to keep it up.
- Buy more hardcovers or paperbacks instead of ebooks
I hardly have any paper books. It is rather sad. I have tons of ebooks but there is nothing like an actual book.
- Request more ARCs
I haven’t been on Netgalley for too long. I haven’t requested a lot so far.
- Keep up with my bullet journal
I am anxiously waiting for my first bullet journal to arrive. I want to keep up with everything from books, my blog, and just life in general. I have a love for organization.
- Read more YA contemporary
Most stuff I read is YA fantasy. It is my favorite genre but I have read a lot of great things in YA contemporary so I want to expand.
- Read some classics
I downloaded Pride and Prejudice for free on iBooks. I have read some of it but still have yet to finish. I hope to enjoy it more and read more classics.
- Gain more friends on my blog
I just started this in September. I have discovered some awesome blogs so far. Hopefully I can make more book blogging friends this year.
- Complete my Goodreads challenge
My goal last year was 20. I read 35 but didn’t start reading a lot until the fall time. I have my 2018 goal set to 40.
- Post more on my other book related social media accounts
I just expanded to Twitter and Instagram a couple of weeks ago.
Excellent goals! Good luck with all of these!

I love ARCs, they are so much fun, but here lately, for WHATEVER reason, all my ARCs have been terrible! One was amazing, Heart Talk by Cleo Wade, but I was disappointed with so many others. Maybe it’s because they’ve been adult fiction. I need to only request YA arcs for now on. ❤ I love your blog!!!!!!

I have only got approved for a few and they haven’t been that great. So I know what you mean. I am hoping that will change because I don’t like giving a negative review after getting an ARC. Thank you! 🙂

I know!!! The ARCs feel like special little gifts, and then I have to say, well, I appreciate it, and you did a really good job, BUT 1/5 stars. It’s really awkward, but sometimes the book is good & I don’t feel like a terrible person

I know right! I write the things I liked before the dislikes, hoping that will help. hehe.
